It's the nostalgia of cracking open one of these vintage beers. Or it's the way I remember my dad drinking beers on the boat. Either way with a little luck we might see these back on the market. Back in the early 1980's many states made it illegal for aluminum containers to have detachable lids / tabs. However, with the recent trend in aluminum bottles ( technically against the law ). We could see some throw back beers to throw back. Anyone who knows me, knows I'd drink an old 1976 Coors can straight from the dusty attic. Write your Congressman. Tell him to bring back the pull tabs. Because if they don't, they are "Un-American".
